Intan's homecoming

Last week we celebrated Intan for her achievement in getting the Allianze scholarship, pursuing in medic. It was a little bit sad to lose one of your classmates but it was for her own good. It was her ambition to become a doctor, pediatrician to be exact. Moreover, her room is next to mine. She left.

Then, we got a message that she will be coming back to KMS. Like seriously? Yes! We waited and waited that Friday, but to no avail. No sign of Intan coming back to KMS.

On Sunday evening, I was decorating my board, with Tiha's help, and there were loud knocks at my room's door. Guess what? Yes! The long awaited Intan was standing,  smiling sweetly as usual in front of us.

Not only that, she also brought something along with her.

For the boys

It's good to have you back with us Intan. You can still be a doctor. Strive for 40 points and above for IB final examination. The Director himself already told you that he will help you if you manage to achieve that, right? Don't worry, we are always by your side. Most importantly, Allah is always there for you :)

Curious on why she reject the Allianze scholarship and came back to join us?

Well, this is the answer when we asked her.

"Bila tanya orang kat sana, baru tahu Allianze ni bank konvesional. Maknanya, kemungkinan ada berlaku riba' di situ. Kita tak pasti. Intan tak nak belajar dalam keadaan syubhah. Tak nak enam tahun belajar medik guna duit riba'.  Intan nak keberkatan tu."

Ya Allah, Engkau permudahkanlah jalan kepada sahabatku ini untuk menjadi seorang doktor yang beriman kepada-Mu. Amin.
