the homeless

Dear readers,

Have you ever heard about the homeless? Have you ever seen them?

Yesterday, my friends and I - 10 of us plus 2 teachers went to help the Pertiwi Soup Kitchen volunteers to feed these homeless people. We arrived at Jalan TAR about 9.15pm and waited for the small truck, eh, lorry, hmm, van? I don't know which one suits best but it's the one that people use to vend food and beverages, like the one below.

So, we and some Taylor's college students helped those volunteers to distribute the food, arranged tables for the homeless people. After getting the food, all of them I mean, we waited until those who were using the tables to finish their dinner and packed up the tables back. Oh, there were also people donating old clothes to them. There was also 'Kaunter Aduan' for these homeless people to lodge any reports.

Then, we moved to our second spot, which was in front of Mydin Kota Raya. The scene was as same as before. There, came other group of volunteer asking us whether we did distribute food for the homeless there because they were doing the same thing. We said yes, so they went to another place to give their service for these unfortunate people. By the way, some of the homeless did bring along children with them. It was sad to see such little kids with no home, especially in a big city.

What I learnt from this program IS we must be grateful on what we have. When those people received the food, I could see their eyes filled with honesty while thanking us, being very grateful that they still had the chance to eat that night. At least, getting some food that could be eaten. So friends, do appreciate every single thing that we own. Love your friends and family especially your parents. Some of them were alone in this world, they have neither family nor relatives. Maybe they have, but nobody cares about them. Their life along the roadside, being cherish by their friends - who is also a homeless and these kind-hearted volunteers.

After doing some charity works, teacher gave her permission to go and buy McD which was opposite the Mydin. Too bad, it didn't accept debit card, and yes, I bought nothing. Luckily Alia was kind enough to spend her money to buy me a strawberry sundae :D Thanks !

Not to forget, highest appreciation to Ms Mazrah for giving me the once in a blue moon opportunity to be involved in this program yesterday :)

p/s: we were not allowed to take their pictures in order to respect them.

backstab?

It was hurt being backstabbed. Adding to it, it was done by someone that kinda close to you. Literally, it's like a super sharp knife, thrusted straight into your heart. From the back, without you realizing it. Being pulled back, and the process was continued. After several times, some concentrated salt solution was poured onto that wound as well as squeezing a lemon for its juice on the same spot. Can you imagine the pain?

What is backstabbing? :O

Well, according to a game I used to play - Ragnarok Online, backstab is a skill of a rogue. One of the powerful skills, if you increase the STR until 99. Hehe.

Enough talking writing crap  nonsense things.
