Assalamualaikum and hello people ~
I can't remember when was the last time I wrote here (sorryyyyy T^T) well, few things happened and uni life is chasing me real hard - I am barely able to breathe *inhale* *exhale*
So, since Melbourne is freezing cold, we really look forward to spring. Warm and nice and people start to wear colourful clothes (mat saleh ni depa duk pakai hitam/putih/kelabu/warna suram-suram je masa winter sampai kitorang pun rasa depressed dan gloomy). Lulz.
Spring starts officially on 1st September every year here. To make things short, there are lots of flowers now and you can see them everywhere ~~ no, not in my heart. Ni minta kaki betul ni.
Today is the last day of my long-awaited spring break *cries* time flies so fast when you do nothing (eh?). At the beginning of the break, my partner-in-crime a.k.a navigator - Mary plus my two housemates (sorry Puteri hang busy sangat pasai pa?) and I went to a cherry blossoms festival in a cherry farm located in Wandin. It was the first time they carried out this event. Since Mary and I are sooooooo into Japan (but still Malaysian at heart) we wouldn't let this thing slip away and decided that we MUST go there. Hahahahaha bajet bajet hanami lahhh we even packed our food. It was a sunny Sunday and really good for a picnic.
Hmm, we didn't have our picnic there because it was crowded with people by the time we finished our photoshoot. However, we arrived early enough to get the entire cherry rows for us only. Hewhew. That's alright. We can have our prepacked lunch somewhere else.
Nah akak belanja sikit gambar kat sana.
Indah, the awesome me, Mary, Hanis
feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeling sangat
After that we were heading to Geelong. It's on the other side of Melbourne. Imagine dragon this: Wandin is on the East and Geelong is on the West. So we have to travel back to Melbourne and proceed to Geelong (luckily there's city bypass however it was lunch time so still jammed lah the jalan).
On the freeway, almost reaching Geelong exit, we were so excited to see sea of yellow flowers by the roadside. There were a lot of people stopped their vehicles to take picture but we decided not to do so. We arrived at our destination but there's no yellow flower at all. Dah la entah kampung mana-mana entah aku masuk. So we kept on driving and ta-daaahhhh we saw a canola field. Yay. We did it. Of course they were fenced but no worries - there's a gate. Hewhew. We took photos there for half an hour until the owner of the farm came back and asked us to leave (well he was just sitting in his car, waiting for us to leave). 30 minutes was enough though for such a beauty.
can I be a model?
After that we went home directly because we're going to the Chinese mid-autumn festival. Lanterns and mooncakes~ hewhew.
Oh, this year I'm not going to the tulip field because I don't have much time plus I have already went there two years ago.
My next mission? I wanna see the sakura in Japan (lepas tu nak bajet-bajet 5 centimetres per second), sunflower field, cosmos, and the list goes on. I'm fine with flower fields but if possible, please don't give me a bouquet of fresh flowers. Kesian dia nanti kering orang buang je. Bookmark with dried flowers are acceptable.
Perasannya lah ada orang nak bagi bunga HAHAHAHAHA.
The end.
p/s: nanti kalau ada masa lapang (dan rajin), aku tulis lah pasal beberapa trip (especially Jepun) yang dah boleh masuk Arkib Negara tu.
p/s lagi: esok sekolah, bye.
loves,
